Our Pillars of Fitness include safety, consistency, variety, and intensity. All four are interconnected and equally important to achieving your optimum fitness level while reducing the risk of injury.
· Safety is paramount in every training session. There should always be a deliberate mental focus with each set and every movement while paying particular attention to proper mechanics and fundamentals. Never sacrifice quality for quantity.
· Consistency is crucial. If you are not training on a consistent basis your body will have no reason to respond by becoming stronger and better conditioned. You must provide a consistent stimulus in order to improve your strength, conditioning, and/or body composition.
· Variety is extremely important when training for strength and improved condition. We are not looking to adapt to a particular routine or training style, but rather create muscle confusion through constant variety, eliminating muscle adaptation.
· Intensity is the determining factor in nearly every training program ever developed. Deliver the intensity and our programs will deliver results. Intensity will vary in order to prevent overtraining of the central nervous system.
Our goal is not to develop mirror athletes, but physically and mentally fit individuals capable of meeting the daily challenges and unexpected events that present themselves whether it be in Work, Life, or Sport. Individuals that have an intense desire to compete in sport or against themselves and improve their mind, body, and spirit through an unconventional approach to fitness.
Work. Sport. Life. What are you training for?
